History

History

The Brigham Young University Chapter of CEO was originally founded as ACE-BYU (Association of Collegiate Entrepreneurs). The club disassociated itself from ACE when the CEO national charter became international. CEO-BYU has grown to be the largest and most active student club on campus. The club operates in connection with the BYU Center for Entrepreneurship (CFE) and the Founders of the CFE.

MISSION
The mission of CEO-BYU is to promote the principles, practices, and benefits of entrepreneurship campus-wide.  We assist students in developing new ideas, writing business plans, and bringing together the resources, access to capital, networking and mentoring necessary to enable students to successfully launch and manage entrepreneurial ventures.

VISION
In 2007-2008, CEO-BYU realized one of its best years on record.  The organization set records for membership as well as for program effectiveness and overall benefit to students.  Our vision for 2007-2008 is to “dream the extreme!”
