El Presidente

President - Derek Pando

Hola! I have been involved with CEO since my first semester at BYU. My entrepreneurial passion was sparked when my dad made me mow lawns when I was 15. Eventually I started a lawn service business and wakeboard clothing company before my mission to Anaheim, CA. I am studying political science and currently working for an awesome start-up company called Enticelabs. On the side, to further satisfy my entrepreneurial spirit and my wallet, I run a seasonal aeration company called Starving Student Aeration. I love CEO, my favorite part is being able to be surrounded by and work with extremely ambitious entrepreneurs, students and non-students alike.

Vice Presidents

VP of Activities - LaDon Linde

I'm LaDon Linde, Jr. I transferred here from Big Bend CC in Washington where I played basketball after I served a mission to Guatemala. I'm currently a Junior studying Accounting. I love business and enjoy meeting business leaders from the area. I also enjoy meeting students making business happen while studying at school. CEO is the best club to make these two things happen, and that's why I'm involved. Enjoy the year.

VP of Communications and Logistics - Chris Taylor

Hey! After having a heck of a summer with Derek Pando last year, he introduced me to CEO, and I've been involved ever since. I'm a sophmore majoring in Business Management with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship. After completing my Bachelor's here at BYU, I plan on continuing my education and earning an MBA. I've always enjoyed entrepreneurial ventures and have been involved with my own landscaping and web-design company. When I'm not busy with school and work, I enjoy dating, hanging out with my friends, and spending time with my parents and 10 younger siblings.

VP of Membership - Ryan Lucas

I am a Junior studying to graduate with a degree in Economics with a minor in Business Management and plan to earn an MBA afterwards. Since I am very entrepreneurial minded and i love to have fun with others that have similar interests I found a perfect fit with CEO. I have really enjoyed building relationships that will last professionally with other students as well as those who are already established in their careers. I am very passionate about most sports and enjoy playing and watching them. Mostly I love meeting and spending time working with people and because of that look forward to enjoying my time with yall.

VP of Public Relations - Jamen Nelson

Hi there, my name is Jamen Nelson. I am currently a senior in the business school, majoring in Entrepreneurship. My interest in entrepreneurship really took off when I convinced my dad to let me start my own high pressure washing business with my brother at age 17, specializing in cosmetic concrete restoration. When I'm not thinking up new business ideas, I love to run and bike in my spare time. Upon graduating from the Marriott School, I plan to launch my own company and climb Mount Everest.

VP of Finance - David Stadelman

I found out about CEO last year and have enjoyed every bit of it. I am currently studying Business Management and will be graduating in April 09. I like this club because I love business and the entrepreneurial mindset of my fellow club members. I have benefited greatly from my membership in this club because of opportunity to hear from successful business leaders and to associate myself with great student entrepreneurs. My goal after graduating is to run a successful business and then return to school for a MBA. When I am not in class I spend time with my wife Natalie or enjoy biking in the mountains.

VP of Marketing - Jake Mattinson

Jake is a junior studying business management with a finance emphasis and working towards the global management certificate. He has strong interests in international business and international business law, with experiences in Africa and Europe being the main contributors. He is happily married and soon to be a proud father. He has been involved in CEO club since the the beginning of the 2008-09 school year after being recruited by Scott Peterson, the faculty advisor. Jake started his own business selling fly-fishing supplies to retailers and distributors to clients across the country when he was 16 and has been hooked on entrepreneurship ever since.

Director of Communications and Logistics - Mike Infanger

Ever since I can remember my dad has always taught me to find my own way of making money. I have been involved in my own lawn-mowing business, a key player in a construction business, and even a sole proprietor of an online party/dating service! I like to do random and unique things and have a fun time working hard. I was introduced to the club when I signed up for the RPS contest. I love being involved in meeting new people and hanging out with other like minded friends. I am majoring in Facility and Property Management, and will possibly be heading for a Masters in HR. I come from a small town in Idaho, I served a mission in Seattle, and I have the best family on earth.

Director of Women in Entrepreneurship- Lana Infanger

Hello! Derek Pando first introduced me to the CEO club for the RPS competition! After spending only a few minutes talking to him about the club I knew that I wanted to be involved! I’m super excited about it and I encourage everyone who is even considering joining to do it! I’m a sophomore majoring in Recreation Management. I’m originally an Idaho girl, but I have loved Provo and BYU. Ever since I was a kid I have enjoyed working and finding new ways to make money. I like to plan and organize activities, hang out with my friends, and just about anything that involves big groups of people!

Newsletter Guru - Ryan Applonie

Go big or go home! That is my motto for life. CEO has been a part of my life since my freshman year. The CEO club has offered so many opportunities for me to amplify my skills and learning related to my pursuit of the business management degree (entrepreneurship emphasis). I want to combine business with my desire to be a doctor. I have had the entrepreneurial bug since I was little. Several times I begged my mom to call the 1-800-invetion lines. I also told here that one day I would run Disneyland because I was too small to get on the rides. Times have changed--I know better than to give away my idea and I've grown a bit. Outside of the academics, I play soccer (watch out for me on the intramural field), snowboard (Snowbird season pass holder), play tennis (I play with the old school wooden racquet), and simply enjoy life. And if you need anything in the newsletter, let me know.

Resident Entrepreneur - Ethan Parker

I'm Ethan Parker from Phoenix, AZ. I studied Industrial Design at Arizona State before a Spanish-speaking mission to California. BYU's accounting program then caught my attention and after graduation in 2009 I plan to attend business school. I currently own and operate Parker Planners. I love BYU's Men's Chorus, guitar, riding motorcycles, shooting, and service. Have a goal, see it clearly, and go for it with everything that is within you!

Director of Membership - Bryton Beesley

I'm an entrepreneurial-minded business major from Farmington, Utah. I wish I had some inspiring story about selling lemonade or mowing lawns in my history, but I chose business as a freshman becuase the Tanner Building looked pretty cool. I've never regretted it; it was the best book-cover judgement I've made in my life. I'm wildly passionate about starting a new business and I'm excited to help you start your own. I really enjoy interfacing with people and buildling friendships through creative ventures. I love the outdoors and never get tired of hiking.
